As I sit here and think, I just realized that if we practice being GREEN, we can reduce violence. Really, just think about violence, most of the time its someone taking something from another person. Well being GREEN means, its enuff for everyone. Recycled items come a dime a dozen, no more saying I want what they have, its more than available, because its reused.....just a thought!

Wow ... I love your take on violence and living green. I have to admit that I've never thought of it in that way. It's brilliant ... living sustainably means that everyone will have enough and no one will be without ... and that has to end violence! Wow ~ I'm seriously blown away by the thought! I wish living green would be enough to stop violence, but I don't think its enough. We must teach our children respect for life. And what goes around comes around. My brother lost his life at 29 years old by a "man" a "friend" that held no reservations about shooting him and his girlfriend over drugs they didn't have.
It's a nice thought but no matter how much we live green, having enough will never be enough for some people. We really need to love each other and again have respect for life. Karma will catch up to your actions, weather they be good or bad. Just my two cents.
@beautifulanodyne I agree, im not saying it will stop violence, its just a small start. Im sorry about your brother and girlfriend I pray God blesses you and your family.
