To Drill or not to Drill

Hello fellow bean lovers, it is a cold, wet, and snowy day after Christmas here in Youngstown, Ohio, but what can I say this is home(for now).  I have been doing some research on etsy with my shop stringbeansinc.etsy.com and I have come across some other jewelers making bean jewelry.  I think it is great that others have joined in, and are now making eco friendly jewelry that we love, that is good for our planet.  Now on the other hand, they specifically state that they are drilling their jewelry, I just want to say that SBI bean jewelery is 100% COMPLETELY HAND STRUNG, NO DRILLING HERE.  Drilling bean jewelry may be faster, but like anything else fast is not always the road you want to take when making something with the best quality.  My jewelry goes through a process that takes about 5 days, but the jewelry is water resistant, and last for years to come.  I just want to let all of you bean lovers know what the difference is, also you can see the difference when you look at my jewelry, it has a very high glossy shine, and the drilled bean jewelry does not.  Bean jewelry that is made with no protection will not last, if it gets wet, you will have bean soup around your neck or wrist.  The most important thing I want to share is that because I do hand string my beans, I am able to sell my jewelry at an affordable price so that you all can enjoy beautiful jewelry without breaking the bank.
